Dramatic footage released by the US military shows Iran’s most advanced fighter jets being obliterated in seconds during a devastating precision strike on a key Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) airbase on March 18, 2026.

In a lightning operation, US forces hammered the heavily fortified IRGC airbase at Khatam al-Anbiya near Isfahan. Multiple explosions ripped through hardened aircraft shelters as American strike aircraft and long-range munitions turned the facility into a blazing inferno. Video captured from drones shows at least six of Iran’s prized Su-35 and upgraded F-14 Tomcat fighters exploding on the tarmac or inside hangars before they could even take off.
The IRGC had positioned its most capable warplanes at the base in a last-ditch effort to challenge US air superiority and support fresh attacks on Israel and Gulf cities. Within moments, most of them were reduced to burning wreckage.
US Central Command confirmed the strike, stating it was a direct response to Iran’s recent barrage on American bases and continued attacks on Gulf nations and international shipping. “We have systematically degraded Iran’s ability to project air power,” CENTCOM said. “Their remaining aircraft are being hunted down.”

This major blow comes as Iran grows increasingly desperate. With Supreme Leader Khamenei ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, Mojtaba Khamenei struggling to maintain control, and the IRGC reeling from weeks of punishment, Tehran continues to lash out with missile and drone attacks on Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Israel.
America’s dominance is absolute.
The dual supercarrier strike group — USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford — continues to rule the Arabian Sea under Operation Epic Fury, launching nonstop combat missions. Long-range B-52 Stratofortress bombers have now joined the campaign, adding overwhelming firepower that Iran has no effective defense against. Thousands of U.S. Marines are also on the ground, ready for any scenario.
Despite Iran’s loud propaganda claiming new “underwater missiles” and successful strikes, the reality is clear: Iran’s air force is being dismantled in real time, its naval forces are decimated, and its missile stockpiles are running dangerously low.
The footage of Iranian jets exploding on the runway sends a powerful message to Mojtaba Khamenei and the IRGC: there is no safe place left. Every base, every aircraft, and every threat will be found and destroyed.
The United States and its allies are not just responding — they are systematically ending Iran’s ability to wage this war.
