The Iranian regime has dramatically escalated its campaign, with the elite Quds Force announcing the launch of “Gates of Fire” — a declared campaign of relentless, non-stop attacks against American and Israeli targets across the region.
In a fiery statement on March 18, 2026, Quds Force commander Esmail Qaani vowed: “The Gates of Fire are now open. We will strike American forces, bases, and interests without pause. Israel will burn day and night. This war will not end until the enemy is defeated.”

The announcement follows a sharp increase in proxy and direct attacks: fresh rocket barrages on Israeli cities, drone strikes on American compounds in the UAE, and continued ᴀssaults on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Syria have also intensified rocket and drone attacks on U.S. positions.
This represents a dangerous shift in strategy.
Facing devastating losses — including the death of Supreme Leader Khamenei, the destruction of IRGC headquarters, over 5,500 coalition strikes on Iranian soil, and the near-collapse of its conventional air and naval forces — Tehran is now fully activating its terror network for sustained asymmetric warfare.
America’s response remains overwhelming.

Despite Iran’s threats, the dual supercarrier strike group — USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald R. Ford — continues to dominate the Arabian Sea under Operation Epic Fury. Both carriers are operating at full strength, launching continuous combat missions while B-52 Stratofortress bombers and advanced strike aircraft pound Iranian targets. Thousands of U.S. Marines are on high alert across the region.
US Central Command stated: “Iran’s ‘Gates of Fire’ will be met with American steel. We are prepared for a prolonged campaign and will defend our forces and allies with decisive power.”
Israel has raised its alert level to the highest and is conducting heavy retaliatory strikes on Hezbollah and Iranian ᴀssets in Syria and Lebanon.
Gulf nations have strongly condemned the new phase of Iranian aggression, calling it “the last desperate gamble of a dying regime.”
While the Quds Force promises non-stop fury, the reality is stark: Iran’s military infrastructure is crumbling, its missile stockpiles are depleting, and its economy is collapsing under pressure. The “Gates of Fire” may be open, but the US-Israel-Gulf coalition holds the superior firepower and unbreakable resolve.
The coming days will test whether Iran’s threats are hollow bluster — or the spark of an even wider and more destructive conflict.
