However, despite recent tensions, British diplomat Stephen Doughty denied that the special relationship between the US and the UK was in “danger”.
“Our relationship with the United States is very strong. This relationship has been, is, and will continue to be strong in the future, both economically and in terms of security,” Stephen Doughty said in the House of Representatives on March 3.
