US-Iran War: Iran Strikes Gulf’s Critical Energy Grid After South Pars Strike.hl

In a swift and calculated act of revenge, Iran has launched a major missile and drone offensive targeting the Gulf’s critical energy grid, just hours after Israel struck the mᴀssive South Pars gas field. Multiple high-impact explosions rocked key energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait, with the most severe damage reported at Saudi Arabia’s Abqaiq processing plant and several UAE oil and gas terminals.

Thick black smoke and towering flames are visible across the affected sites as emergency teams battle to contain the fires. The coordinated strikes have forced the immediate shutdown of several major production units, removing hundreds of thousands of barrels per day from global supply.

The IRGC has claimed full responsibility, with a senior commander stating under Mojtaba Khamenei’s direct orders: “South Pars was a red line. Now the Gulf’s entire energy backbone is burning. We warned them. Every attack on our energy infrastructure will be met with overwhelming force. We still have not used our best and ᴅᴇᴀᴅliest missiles.”

This latest escalation demonstrates Iran’s clear strategy: turning the conflict into a full-scale energy war. By systematically targeting refineries and processing hubs across the Gulf, Tehran aims to inflict maximum economic pain on both Israel’s allies and the United States.

Retired U.S. General Jack Keane called the strikes “extremely dangerous and highly effective,” warning that Iran is successfully weaponizing global dependence on Gulf energy to pressure the international community.

Global oil prices have reacted with absolute chaos, surging past $21,950 per barrel — shattering every record in history — as traders fear a complete collapse of energy stability in the region.

Is Iran winning the energy war? After suffering a major blow at South Pars, Tehran has responded by setting the Gulf ablaze. With flames rising across critical energy facilities and the world economy now facing unprecedented pressure, the conflict has evolved into something far more dangerous than a conventional military confrontation.

The coming retaliation from the US and its Gulf partners is expected to be powerful — but the question remains: how much more destruction can the global energy system endure?
