⚠️ US INCREASES FIELD COMMAND TRAINING AS TENSIONS ESCALATE WITH IRAN

U.S. Marines from the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) have successfully completed a high-intensity training cycle as part of the latest ANGLICO Basic Skills Package at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

For weeks, the soldiers participated in an extremely rigorous and intensive training program, focusing on coordinating advanced combat tactics, planning precise fire control down to the meter, and building a perfectly integrated battlefield communication system in a combined arms environment. From coordinating air, naval, and artillery fire support for ground forces to rapidly transmitting orders under high pressure, every exercise is designed to closely simulate real combat situations, making ANGLICO (Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company) officers and personnel indispensable “living bridges” between land, air, and sea forces.

Defense observers highly appreciate the ANGLICO training program as a key factor in ensuring ground forces can effectively and seamlessly coordinate with air and naval forces in the most complex missions. The course not only builds a solid foundation in tactical capabilities but also elevates the readiness of the entire force in the face of rapidly evolving global security challenges – from regional H๏τspots to unexpected conflict scenarios.

Military analysts emphasize that maintaining command and control training programs like ANGLICO is a major strategic priority for the U.S. Marine Corps: maintaining operational cohesion, enhancing alliance interoperability, and improving the speed of immediate response to emerging crises across diverse battlefields. In a rapidly shifting and volatile global geopolitical landscape, these training courses not only hone individual skills but also strengthen the overall alliance capabilities.

The message from defense planners is clear and powerful:
In the age of modern warfare with its ever-changing geopolitical landscape, thorough preparation, a strong deterrent posture, and the ability to operate in conjunction with others are key to success. No matter where the next crisis unfolds in the world, the U.S. Marine Corps – especially the ANGLICO “fire bridges” – will always be ready, accurate, and the most reliable frontline force.
