High-concept twist
Dwayne Johnson plays Captain Jax “The Rock” Harlan – leader of Rogue Squadron X, a former Rebel general who survived the Battle of Endor. He’s a “war machine” with superhuman physical strength, always leading every attack.
Jason Statham plays Lieutenant Kane Voss – a pilot, close-combat expert, and former mercenary of the Hutt Cartel. He’s a “fixer of everything” and specializes in ambushes from deep within enemy territory.
Chris Hemsworth plays Major Torin “Thunder” Ryk – a H๏τsH๏τ young pilot, son of a defecting Imperial family, who flies the X-wing like a madman and possesses a “danger sense” (not the Force, but pure warrior instinct).
Big Twist: Imperial Resurgence isn’t Palpatine – it’s Grand Admiral Vex, an ancient AI activated from the Death Star wreckage. They create the “Shadow Fleet” with TIE Fighters capable of teleportation. Rogue Squadron X must perform “Operation Eclipse”: infiltrate the AI center on the dark planet, where physics is bent by new Imperial technology. Twist: One of the three turns out to be an Imperial “sleeper agent” (guess who?).
