In a major and highly alarming escalation, Iran has launched a fresh wave of ballistic missiles targeting Israel’s sensitive nuclear town of Dimona and the nearby city of Arad in the Negev Desert. Multiple impacts were reported, with explosions rocking both locations and causing significant damage to infrastructure near the Dimona nuclear research center.

Israeli authorities confirm at least 180 injuries, with several people in critical condition. Emergency services are overwhelmed as rescue teams operate under continued air raid sirens. The strike on Dimona — widely regarded as the heart of Israel’s nuclear program — marks one of the most direct attacks on the facility to date.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) swiftly claimed responsibility. A senior commander, under the direct command of Mojtaba Khamenei, stated: “We have struck Dimona and Arad with precision. The Zionist regime’s nuclear sites are no longer safe. This is our clear response to their aggression. We still have not used our best and ᴅᴇᴀᴅliest missiles.”
The attack comes as the US-Iran-Israel war continues its brutal expansion. Iranian forces have repeatedly hit Tel Aviv and Haifa, targeted U.S. bases across the Gulf, and maintained pressure on energy facilities in the region, while thousands of American Marines remain engaged on Iranian soil.

Retired U.S. General Jack Keane called the strikes “extremely dangerous,” warning that repeated targeting of nuclear-related sites risks pushing the conflict into an uncontrollable phase.
Global oil prices have surged past $32,650 per barrel in panicked trading — a new all-time record — as markets fear further instability and potential long-term disruption to energy supplies.
As fires burn near Dimona and Israel remains under heavy fire, the world is witnessing a conflict that grows more perilous by the hour. With both sides refusing to back down, many are now asking: How close are we to a point of no return?
