TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – A man was arrested and charged after he trespᴀssed into a University of Arizona dorm, where he attacked a woman he was in a relationship with, according to court documents.
Ryan Marshall was arrested and charged with domestic violence aggravated ᴀssault, domestic violence kidnapping, first-degree trespᴀssing, and second-degree burglary.

On Feb. 13, Marshall allegedly tailgated behind someone into a U of A dorm without permission, despite not having access. Police said the victim lives inside of the dorm.
According to court documents, the woman noticed Marshall was in the building so she tried to lock the door but he pushed his way into the room. An argument started and Marshall began to hit and push the woman who sustained injuries to her stomach, legs and face.
The victim informed police she felt unable to leave the room since Marshall and another person were reportedly blocking the doorway. The woman became frightened after Marshall told the other individual to get a gun from the vehicle, court documents revealed.
The victim then grabbed a knife and stabbed Marshall. He then left the room and dorm soon after.

Police said the two were in a relationship for a year.
Marshall is excluded from all U of A property until February 15, 2027.
He is held in the Pima County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
