In a dramatic opening of a new front, Israel has announced preparations for a mᴀssive ground and air campaign in southern Lebanon targeting Hezbollah. Senior Israeli military officials have declared the operation has “just begun,” signaling a prolonged and intense offensive aimed at permanently dismantling Hezbollah’s military infrastructure along the border.

The IDF has begun mᴀssing armor, artillery, and infantry brigades near the northern frontier, while Israeli warplanes have already launched preliminary strikes on Hezbollah positions south of the Litani River. Explosions have been reported across multiple villages as Israeli jets target missile storage facilities, tunnel entrances, and command posts.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated firmly: “We will not stop until Hezbollah’s threat is completely eliminated. This campaign has just begun. Our soldiers will push as far as necessary to protect Israeli citizens.”

Hezbollah has responded with defiance, launching heavy rocket barrages into northern Israel. A spokesperson warned: “If Israel wants a ground war in Lebanon, we will give them one they will never forget. Our fighters are ready and waiting.”
The IRGC, under Mojtaba Khamenei’s command, has vowed full support for Hezbollah, stating: “The Axis of Resistance stands united. Any Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon will be met with crushing force from all fronts. We still have not used our best and ᴅᴇᴀᴅliest missiles.”
Retired U.S. General Jack Keane described the situation as “extremely dangerous,” warning that a full-scale Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon could open a devastating two-front war while the conflict with Iran continues to rage.
Global oil prices have reacted with fresh panic, surging past $34,600 per barrel as traders fear the expansion of the war into Lebanon could further destabilize the entire region.
As Israeli tanks prepare to cross the border and warplanes fill Lebanese skies, the world faces a terrifying new reality: the war is no longer just between Iran and Israel — it has now officially engulfed Lebanon. With Hezbollah armed and waiting and Iran promising support, this new front could prove to be the bloodiest chapter of the conflict yet.
