Tel Aviv / Persian Gulf – Iran has dramatically escalated the conflict by deploying its newly unveiled “Nasrallah” multi-warhead ballistic missiles, claiming direct and devastating strikes on key Israeli military-industrial targets and several U.S. bases in the Gulf.
On March 21, 2026, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired several of these advanced missiles, each carrying multiple independently targetable warheads designed to saturate and overwhelm air defense systems. Iranian state media released footage showing powerful explosions at Israeli defense facilities (including sites linked to missile production) and U.S. military installations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE.

The IRGC named the weapon after the late Hezbollah leader Hᴀssan Nasrallah and described the strikes as “precise revenge” for recent losses. Iranian officials boasted that the missiles successfully penetrated Israeli and American defenses, causing significant damage to critical infrastructure.
While Israeli and U.S. officials have confirmed multiple impacts and “serious damage” at several sites, both nations have launched immediate retaliatory strikes against Iranian missile launchers and command centers. Air raid sirens continue to sound across Israel as emergency teams respond to blast zones.

This marks a dangerous new phase in the war. The introduction and claimed success of the “Nasrallah” multi-warhead system shows Iran still possesses advanced capabilities and is willing to use them aggressively despite heavy pressure on its homeland.
As fires burn at the targeted sites and both Israel and the United States prepare their response, the message from Tehran is unmistakable: the regime is far from finished and intends to keep striking back with increasing sophistication.
The region is now bracing for the inevitable counter-escalation.
