The Israeli military says Iran has launched a fresh round of missiles toward Israeli territory as the conflict between the two countries continues to escalate.
Air-raid sirens sounded in parts of northern Israel after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detected new missile launches from Iran. The military said it was working to intercept the incoming projectiles.
Iran has fired hundreds of missiles at Israel since the start of the conflict, with Israeli air-defence systems intercepting many of them, though some have struck populated areas.
The latest launches come amid continuing exchanges of strikes between Israel, Iran and allied groups across the Middle East.
