In yet another night of fear and destruction, Iran launched a fresh barrage of ballistic missiles toward Israel, with several warheads striking multiple locations in central Israel and wounding at least two civilians.
Air raid sirens screamed across Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Holon, and surrounding areas as the missiles tore through the sky. Israeli air defenses intercepted many projectiles, but at least three missiles penetrated the defensive layers, causing powerful explosions. One strike hit a residential neighborhood in Holon, injuring two people and damaging several buildings. Additional impacts were reported near infrastructure sites in the greater Tel Aviv area, triggering fires and sending thick smoke into the night sky.

Residents described scenes of panic as families rushed to shelters in the middle of the night. “The explosions were so close, the windows shattered,” one eyewitness said. “We thought it was never going to stop.”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attack, calling it part of the ongoing retaliation under Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Iranian officials stated the strikes were a direct response to continued U.S. and Israeli aggression during Operation Epic Fury.
This latest ᴀssault highlights the growing strain on Israel’s multi-layered defense system. Despite weeks of intense bombardment by the U.S. and Israel, Iran continues to demonstrate its ability to reach central Israel with alarming regularity. The repeated success in penetrating defenses is raising serious concerns about the sustainability of Israel’s current air defense posture.

Meanwhile, the United States is facing its own mounting difficulties in the campaign. The USS Gerald R. Ford remains crippled by recurring fires, the USS Abraham Lincoln has sustained damage from Iranian attacks, and America has already burned through more than $11 billion in munitions in just two weeks. Critical radar systems across the region have been destroyed, and interceptor stockpiles are running dangerously low.
As explosions continue to echo across central Israel and rescue teams respond to fresh damage, one uncomfortable reality is becoming harder to ignore: Operation Epic Fury, which was meant to neutralize the Iranian threat quickly, has instead triggered a sustained and painful war of attrition that shows no signs of ending soon.
How many more nights of sirens and strikes can Israel endure? The missiles keep coming — and the pressure is only increasing.
