Iran has unleashed what commanders in Tehran call a “full‑might” strike on Israel, firing waves of ballistic and cruise missiles at Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in the most intense barrage of the war so far, defence officials say.

Sirens howled almost simultaneously from the northern coast to the Judean hills as early‑warning radars lit up with launch tracks from western and central Iran. In Haifa Bay, residents filmed fiery streaks over the water and mid‑air detonations offshore. Above Tel Aviv, Iron Dome and David’s Sling turned the sky into a grid of white trails and orange fireballs, while in Jerusalem, interceptors flashed above the Old City walls as booms echoed through the valleys.

The IDF says “dozens” of missiles were intercepted, but concedes several warheads or large fragments broke through the defensive shield. An industrial zone near Haifa’s port was hit, igniting fuel tanks and warehouses. On the outskirts of Tel Aviv, a residential block suffered a direct or near‑direct strike, leaving a gaping crater and shattered high‑rises around it. In Jerusalem, debris from an intercepted missile crashed into a neighbourhood, damaging homes and cars.

Hospitals across all three cities report multiple ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and scores wounded; emergency rooms are overflowing as medics race between impact sites. Tehran is hailing the attack as proof it can hit “every strategic and symbolic heart” of Israel at once. Israeli officials insist the “Missiles vs Dome” test shows their defences held under unprecedented pressure — but warn that Iran has now crossed a threshold that will trigger a mᴀssive and sustained response deep inside Iranian territory.
