Heavy rocket and missile fire rained down on northern Israel today as Hezbollah launched one of its largest barrages in weeks. Air raid sirens blared across Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Safed, and multiple communities in the Galilee as hundreds of projectiles were fired from southern Lebanon. Israeli Iron Dome batteries lit up the sky, successfully intercepting the majority of incoming threats, but several rockets penetrated the defenses, causing direct impacts on residential areas and infrastructure.

Emergency services report multiple fires, damaged homes, and vehicles. At least 4 Israelis were injured, including two civilians hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. This unprovoked ᴀssault comes as Hezbollah continues acting as Iran’s primary proxy in the ongoing US-Israel Iran War, attempting to stretch Israeli forces on multiple fronts while its sponsor’s military collapses.
Hezbollah’s leadership openly declared the attack as support for Iran following recent devastating U.S. and Israeli strikes. However, the terror group’s strategy remains unchanged: deliberately firing from within civilian neighborhoods in Lebanon, using Lebanese people as human shields while targeting Israeli towns and cities.

Despite the intensity of the barrage, Israel’s civil defense systems and rapid response have once again limited casualties. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated firmly: “Hezbollah will pay a heavy price for every rocket fired at our citizens. We are systematically dismantling their terror infrastructure and will not stop until the northern border is secure.”
This escalation occurs while U.S. forces continue precision operations against Iranian targets, including the recent deployment of mᴀssive bunker-buster bombs near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s regime is crumbling — its leadership decimated, missile capabilities nearly eliminated, and underground fortresses turned into fiery traps. Hezbollah’s attacks represent the dying gasps of a collapsing axis of terror.
The people of northern Israel continue to show extraordinary resilience, moving in and out of shelters with calm determination. The contrast remains stark: Israel protects its civilians with advanced technology and issues warnings, while Hezbollah and Iran deliberately target them.
The free world must recognize the truth — lasting peace will only come when Hezbollah is fully disarmed and Iran’s terror network is completely destroyed. Israel has every right to defend itself decisively. Strength and resolve, not restraint, will end this threat once and for all.
