In a move that shocked the world, Hezbollah has just sent a special “gift” directly to an Israeli military base. Not roses or candy, but a “gift” of drone swarms and a barrage of high-precision missiles – a strong response amidst escalating tensions on the Lebanon-Israel border.

According to the latest information released by Hezbollah on March 24, 2026, the Lebanese armed group carried out nine coordinated attacks in a single day, targeting six settlements and two Israeli military bases. Most notably, a drone swarm attack targeted the Ein Zeitim base near the city of Safed (northern Israel). Video released by Hezbollah clearly shows the drones crashing into their targets, causing large explosions and a column of black smoke. This base is believed to be a key military base of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
Furthermore, Hezbollah claimed to have fired precision missiles at:

Dado Base – the headquarters of the Israeli army’s Northern Command (northeast Safed).
Giv’a drone control base (east of Safed).
Haifa naval base.
Even a military base near Tel Aviv in central Israel.

All of these were “gifts” in retaliation for Israel’s continuous airstrikes on Lebanon in recent weeks, which have killed hundreds of Lebanese civilians and displaced thousands.
Hezbollah clearly stated:
“This is our gift to the Israeli army for the crimes they have committed against Lebanon and Gaza. We will continue to send more ‘gifts’ if they do not stop.”

Israel has not yet issued an official comment on the extent of the damage, but local sources confirm a large explosion and that the Iron Dome air defense system was operating at full capacity. Numerous videos posted on social media by Israeli residents show smoke and flames rising from areas near the border.
This is not the first time Hezbollah has used the term “sending gifts” to refer to attacks. Previously, the group has repeatedly released videos of drone strikes targeting IDF bases, calling them “early Christmas gifts” or “birthday presents” for the Netanyahu government.
Current Tensions:

Since Hezbollah officially joined the anti-Israel front (from early March 2026), the group has significantly increased the frequency and scale of its rocket, missile, and drone attacks. Israel has responded with large-scale airstrikes on Beirut and southern Lebanon, but it appears it has not yet been able to completely neutralize Hezbollah’s military capabilities.
Many experts believe that this “gift” from Hezbollah is not only a military act but also a powerful symbolic gesture, affirming that the group still possesses strength and determination to fight despite facing pressure from Israel and the United States.
