Death Has Updated Its System
Tagline:
“Death has never gone out of style… it just gets upgraded.”
Synopsis (New Synopsis – completely original):
In 2026, at the “NEXUS Eclipse Festival” – Asia’s largest technology and electronic music festival – held in a newly built smart city center in Singapore, thousands of light drones, automated AI stages, and augmented reality (AR) systems combine to create an unprecedented performance.

Mia – a 21-year-old Gen Z content creator – suddenly has a terrifying premonition: the entire AI system is overloaded by a sudden solar storm, drones rain down like bombs, the stage collapses, causing the ᴅᴇᴀᴅliest stampede in history. Thanks to this premonition, Mia and seven friends (a streamer, an AI programmer, an influencer, twin brothers, an esports athlete, and a mysterious girl) narrowly escape the disaster.

They thought they had “hacked” fate.
But Death had upgraded.
It no longer used knives, wires, or old trucks.
It used the very things people believe in every day:

Self-driving cars with hacked routes
Smart homes locking doors and raising temperatures to ᴅᴇᴀᴅly levels
Health tracking apps reporting false heart rates and activating defibrillators in phones
AR glᴀsses displaying illusions that cause victims to rush into the street
And finally… a mᴀssive data loop that only Mia could see.

Each death was perfectly designed as a “death algorithm”—unstoppable, unpredictable.
The group of friends had to race against the very technology they once loved to break the loop before Death completed its list.
