Iran says it has launched strikes against U.S. military facilities in Kuwait, targeting bases that support American operations in the Gulf. According to statements attributed to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, drones and ballistic missiles were fired at several U.S.-linked military sites across the region, including Ali Al Salem Air Base and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait.
The attacks are part of Iran’s broader retaliation following large-scale U.S. and Israeli strikes inside Iranian territory. Multiple Gulf countries reported missile and drone launches during the escalation, with regional air-defense systems intercepting many of the incoming threats.

Satellite imagery and early ᴀssessments indicate that some facilities in Kuwait sustained damage to infrastructure and communication equipment, though most bases remain operational after defensive interceptions. The strikes mark another expansion of the conflict as Iran attempts to target U.S. military presence across the Middle East.

In previous incidents during the same escalation, a drone strike on a U.S. facility near Shuaiba Port in Kuwait killed several American service members, highlighting the growing risks for military personnel stationed in the region.
