Leonid Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American entrepreneur and owner of the content platform OnlyFans, has died of cancer at the age of 43. The company officially announced this on Monday.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the pᴀssing of Leo Radvinsky. Leo pᴀssed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” a spokesperson for OnlyFans shared. “His family requests privacy during this difficult time.”
Radvinsky acquired Fenix International Ltd. – the parent company of OnlyFans – in 2018 and served as a director and largest shareholder.

He also founded Leo Ventures in 2009, a venture capital firm primarily focused on technology startups.
OnlyFans was founded in 2016 by British entrepreneur Tim Stokely. The platform exploded during the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns spurred content creators and audiences to move online, transforming the subscription model into a mainstream source of income and entertainment globally.

According to a Reuters report in January, OnlyFans was considering selling a controlling stake to investment fund Architect Capital in a deal valuing the company at approximately $5.5 billion (including debt).
