Fire in Iran’s Longest Tunnel System Leaves Thousands of Troops Trapped.hl

In a horrifying development that could change the course of the Iran war, a mᴀssive fire has broken out inside Iran’s longest underground tunnel network, trapping thousands of IRGC troops deep beneath the mountains. The blaze, which erupted in the vast tunnel complex stretching across central Iran, has caused multiple sections to collapse, cutting off escape routes and ventilation systems.

Iranian state media admits that rescue teams are struggling to reach the trapped soldiers as thick smoke and toxic fumes fill the underground labyrinth. Military sources say the tunnels — used for missile storage, command centers, and troop movements — were recently hit by Israeli airstrikes, sparking the catastrophic fire. Eyewitness reports describe scenes of chaos as emergency crews battle both flames and collapsing structures.

This disaster comes at a critical moment in the rapidly escalating conflict. Israel has been relentlessly striking Iranian targets, hitting over 130 military sites including locations in the heart of Tehran. The war has already seen repeated devastating attacks on Haifa’s Bazan refinery, five missile salvos on Jerusalem in one hour, Iranian strikes on Qatar’s Ras Laffan LNG hub, mᴀssive attacks across the Gulf states, multiple U.S. F-35 losses, Iranian MiG-29s confronting American carriers, the deployment of a mᴀssive U.S. carrier armada to the Strait of Hormuz, and the recent introduction of the symbolic “Nasrallah” missile.

Mojtaba Khamenei is reported to be personally overseeing rescue operations. The IRGC issued a furious statement: “The Zionist regime has crossed every humanitarian line. Thousands of our brave soldiers are trapped because of Israeli aggression. We still have not used our best and ᴅᴇᴀᴅliest missiles. The revenge will be merciless.”

Retired U.S. General Jack Keane called the incident “a potential strategic and humanitarian disaster,” warning that the loss of such a large number of elite troops could force Iran into an even more desperate and unpredictable response.

Global oil prices have now skyrocketed past $2,950 per barrel, triggering total panic in world markets. Energy experts warn that any further disruption could push the global economy into a historic depression.

As smoke continues to rise from the burning tunnel system and families of trapped soldiers demand answers, the world faces a grim reality: this war has entered an even darker and more brutal phase. Both sides are inflicting heavy damage, but the human and economic cost is becoming unbearable.

How many more lives must be lost in tunnels, skies, and burning refineries before leaders realize this conflict is destroying the entire region — and the global economy — beyond repair?
