A suspect wanted in connection with a ᴅᴇᴀᴅly drug overdose of a Georgia woman at a Miami music festival has been arrested in metro Atlanta, police said.
Officers with the Sandy Springs Police Department, ᴀssisted by a K-9 unit, helped Miami investigators locate and arrest Carmen Lo in the area of High Point Road. Lo was wanted on a charge of conspiracy to commit homicide, the department said.

The arrest stems from the 2025 overdose death of 24-year-old Jenniha Le, who traveled from Georgia to attend the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, according to NBC Miami.
Investigators said Le died after taking MDMA obtained through a chain of contacts that included Lo and others. Text messages cited in the investigation show how the drugs were arranged ahead of the festival.
In one exchange, Le’s partner asked Lo, “do u have a molly plug,” to which Lo responded, “Also yes to Molly plug,” according to NBC Miami. Authorities said Lo then connected the couple with an alleged supplier.

Additional messages detailed how the drugs would be delivered at the festival, including one stating, “I gave your goods to Andrew Ly,” referencing another suspect, NBC Miami reported.
Le initially appeared to feel well after taking part of the pill, but her condition quickly deteriorated after taking more. She sought help at a medical tent before being rushed to a hospital, where she later died. An autopsy determined the cause of death was MDMA toxicity, according to NBC Miami.
Prosecutors said multiple people now face charges in the case, including murder for the alleged supplier and conspiracy charges for others involved.

“If you choose to sell or deliver drugs, you are responsible for those consequences,” Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said. “If someone dies because of the drugs you provide, you will be held accountable.”
Police said they will continue working with law enforcement partners to ensure suspects are located and brought to justice.
