Tom Hanks is expected to reprise his role alongside Tim Allen, who portrayed Buzz.

Details about the fifth movie have been slowly unraveling, with the plot finally catching up with the modern tech world. The toys are now competing against electronics to win over the attention of their owner, Bonnie. Pixar has released a bit of concept art showcasing Bonnie’s attention to her smart device, with the toys observing.

Directed by Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris, Toy Story 5 has become one of the most anticipated movies in 2026. It has been confirmed that the main antagonist is Bonnie’s Lily Pad, who wants to separate the toys from their owner. As a result. Jessie seeks Woody’s help, which sparks his reunion with his old pals.
