Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence’s new thriller Die, My Love has officially released its trailer ahead of the movie’s release on November 7.

The movie follows Grace (Lawrence) and Jackson (Pattinson), a young couple who move with their newborn from their rural hometown to New York in search of a fresh start. But as Grace battles postpartum depression and increasing isolation, her mental state begins to unravel – putting her marriage and sanity at risk.

Lynne Ramsay directs MUBI’s Die, My Love, and has Martin Scorsese producing. The story is based on the novel released in 2012 of the same name by Ariana Harwicz. The official trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller has officially been released and dives into what we can expect from Lawrence and Pattinson.

Ramsay’s Die, My Love adaptation premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and received a six-minute standing ovation, with Lawrence praised for her portrayal of mental health struggles.

For fans of early 2010s YA franchises, this marks the long-awaited team-up between the stars of The Hunger Games and Twilight. Both Lawrence and Pattinson have since built acclaimed careers in more complex, unconventional roles. Lawrence did so through emotionally charged dramas like Silver Linings Playbook and Mother!, while Pattinson through highly praised performances in The Batman and Good Time.

Director Ramsay is best known for her work on films such as We Need To Talk About Kevin (2011) and You Were Never Really Here (2017). Ramsay, who also wrote the screenplay, brings Harwicz’s surreal exploration of postpartum despair and idenтιтy to the screen. The original French novel delves deeply into the psychological toll of motherhood and the ripple effects on those closest to the protagonist.

MUBI reportedly acquired the rights to Die, My Love for $24 million. The film currently holds a 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics applauding Ramsay’s striking direction and Lawrence’s fearless, feral performance. The actor has shared that she drew on her own experiences of motherhood and the “extreme anxiety and isolation” it can bring.
