Avengers: Doomsday Image Reveals First Look At 28 Returning Marvel Characters’ Suits

Avengers: Doomsday, which is set for a December 2026 release, wrapped filming earlier this week. The film will be the beginning of the end of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga. As a result, it will blend the casts of MCU films with that of the older X-Men film series.

Doomsday will notably feature the return of Robert Downey Jr., not as Tony Stark/Iron Man but as the villainous Doctor Doom. It will also star Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Simu Liu, Leтιтia Wright, Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn, among many other Marvel Stars.

As Doomsday has recently wrapped, more images from the production have been revealed. Crew members who worked on the film were given exclusive merchandise, one of which gives fans their best look yet at the returning heroes.

While there is no clear look at Cyclops’ suit, Magneto’s is on full display, featuring a comic-accurate red and purple color scheme. The candids all appear to have been taken during makeup applications or touch-ups, but there are two images of characters fully suited up featuring Black Panther and Magneto.

Ever since the viral cast announcement for Doomsday, Marvel fans have been on the edge of their seats waiting for more details. This is especially true of long-term fans who also watched Marsden and the rest of the X-Men cast 25 years ago.

While not official, these leaks certainly add to the hype surrounding the film and its returning legacy characters, especially with the more comic-accurate approach to their designs. Though Avengers: Doomsday does not release until December 2026, Marvel will hopefully begin its promotional cycle soon, allowing fans a real look at X-Men in the MCU.
