Tom Cruise Is Stunned By Hayley Atwell In Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning Home Release Clip

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is now available to own on digital platforms, and ScreenRant has a clip to remind you of (or introduce you to) the movie’s blend of action, high stakes, and the occasional lighthearted moment. Tom Cruise’s final Mission (until we hear otherwise) was a critical success, and honored the franchise’s nearly 30-year history.

In addition to Tom Cruise, the movie stars Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger), Simon Pegg (Shaun of the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction), and Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2). The story sees Cruise’s Ethan hunt doing his best to stop a rogue AI called the Enтιтy before it destroys humanity.

ScreenRant is happy to present an extended clip from Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning to celebrate its digital release. Take a look to witness the chemistry between Ethan Hunt and Hayley Atwell’s Grace (both of whose performances ScreenRant’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning review lauded) as they collaborate on a mission of the utmost importance. Check it out above.

Why Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning Is Worth Owning

With the abundance of streaming services that allow subscribers to view thousands of films and TV shows for one flat rate, it’s often difficult to make a case for purchasing a movie, digital or otherwise. But Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning comes with so much bonus content that it looks as though fans will get their money’s worth.

Featurettes walk viewers through the process behind Tom Cruise’s biggest stunts in the film, including the underwater sequence that could have killed the actor. In another featurette, Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie break down the Buster Keaton-esque biplane sequence and the experience of shooting the movie’s Arctic scenes.

Cruise and McQuarrie aren’t the only ones who contributed to the bonus content included in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’s home release. Composers Max Aruj and Alfie Godfrey as well as score producer Cécile Tournesac weighed in about their original score for the movie which, of course, utilizes Lalo Schifrin’s iconic “Mission: Impossible” theme.

Other pieces of bonus content delve into more Mission: Impossible goodness, like promos featuring Tom Cruise breaking a Guinness World Record and commentary by editor Eddie Hamilton and first ᴀssistant director Mary Boulding.

Mission: Impossible is a rare franchise in which the behind-the-scenes happenings are often as interesting as the movie itself (especially when it comes to Cruise’s stunt work), and the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning home release looks poised to take full advantage of that fact.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is available for purchase on digital platforms now.
