The Thor: Ragnarok star revealed that they are “putting together some different ideas” for the third movie, which they “certainly” have the intention to make. [Tyler Rake is] getting restless. We, the creative team, are putting together some different ideas and creative ventures of where we could take the whole place and the [third] film. But the intention is to certainly make another one. I don’t know exactly when, but yeah, it’ll be coming.”

Despite the movie being ordered by the streamer in 2023, Hemsworth confirms that the scheduled Extraction 3 is still in early development, with the exact plot details remaining undetermined.
