Star Wars’ New TV Show Will Reveal How One Order 66 Survivor Resisted The Empire

Star Wars: Visions season 3 will show another Order 66 survivor resisting the Empire. When the Clone Wars began, there were 10,000 Jedi serving in the galaxy. Almost all died when Palpatine initiated Order 66, with only a handful surviving; some of the most skilled masters and Padawans whose masters died to save them.

George Lucas always knew some Jedi would survive Order 66. As efficient as Palpatine’s methods were, he imagined there to be somewhere between 50 and 100 survivors, although no doubt many more were killed during the Dark Times. Now, it seems we’re about to get a sense of another Order 66 survivor’s battle against the Empire.

The Village Bride Introduced An Order 66 Survivor In Hiding

F from The Village Bride

Lucasfilm’s anthology series Star Wars: Visions is an opportunity for different animation houses across the world to play in George Lucas’ sandbox, and the tales aren’t necessarily canon. One of the most intriguing, though, is “The Village Bride” by Kinema Citrus. It tells the story of a Jedi Padawan who hid on the Outer Rim planet Keelia.

Known only as “F,” the Padawan trained under a Jedi Master named Shad-Rah, who had died during Order 66. F tried to keep her head down, hiding from the Empire’s attentions, but couldn’t help stepping out of the shadows when raiders terrorized Keelia. As the Grand Inquisitor observed in Obi-Wan Kenobi:

“Jedi cannot help what they are. Their compᴀssion leaves a trail. The Jedi code is like an itch. [They] cannot help it.”

In the aftermath of her battle with the raiders, F headed out into the stars – now unmasked, openly wielding her yellow lightsaber.

Star Wars Is About To Return To The Village Bride’s Story

The Jedi Survivor Named F In The Village Bride

The Jedi known only as “F” was a fascinating character, not least because the conflict with the raiders clearly mirrored the turmoil in her own heart. This was resolved when she drew her lightsaber, even cutting off her Padawan braid as though acknowledging this was her own personal Jedi Trial. Now, she is a true Jedi.

Star Wars: Visions season 3 will return to this story, however, with Kinema Citrus making a sequel called “The Lost Ones.” We know very little about this story, but it will obviously continue F’s journey of growth – and that means she’s certain to challenge the Empire.

We’ve already seen what that means in stories like Jedi: Survivor, but we’re about to get a much more intimate portrayal. In “The Village Bride,” the external battle was a mirror for the main character’s own struggle; much of her story was told by inference rather than spelled out. No doubt the same will continue in this Star Wars: Visions sequel.

Star Wars: Visions season 3 releases October 29, 2025.
