All Marvel Projects Releasing In 2025

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)‘s 2025 lineup has been filled to the brim as the popular franchise released several TV shows, animated series, and films, with more still on the way before the year ends. After a rocky number of years following the end of the Infinity Saga and efforts to redefine the franchise, 2025 has felt like Marvel has been hitting its stride in some areas.

Admittedly, they still had some misses, with films like Captain America: Brave New World receiving mixed reviews, and Thunderbolts* receiving a lower-than-expected box office return despite rave reviews, but they also released some incredible shows on Disney+.

But now, with over half of the year having pᴀssed, it’s worth looking back at what Marvel Studios has already delivered, and ahead, to what is still to come. And it’s astonishing to see how far the MCU has come since the earliest years of its existence, with a variety of projects on the table for viewers to enjoy.

Marvel Projects Released So Far In 2025

As mentioned above, there have been several major releases already from Marvel Studios in 2025. From animated shows like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, to hit TV revivals like Daredevil: Born Again picking up where the Netflix Marvel show left off, and big theatrical releases like The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel fans are spoiled for choice.

These are the projects that have already come out in 2025:

  1. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man – January 29, 2025
  2. Captain America: Brave New World – February 14, 2025
  3. Daredevil: Born Again – March 4, 2025
  4. Thunderbolts* – May 2, 2025
  5. Ironheart – June 24, 2025
  6. The Fantastic Four: First Steps – July 25, 2025

But that’s not all. There are still several more projects due to come out on Disney+ over the coming weeks and months. While the next theatrical release is not due until July 31, 2026, with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, there are a total of three Marvel shows still to come before the year is out. This will include two animated shows, and one new live-action series.

Eyes Of Wakanda – August 6, 2025

Wakanda Unveils Its Secrets In Eyes Of Wakanda

First up, Eyes of Wakanda takes the MCU back to the incredibly technological Marvel of a country that is Wakanda. Hidden away in the continent of Africa, this mighty kingdom has access to the world’s largest supply of Vibranium, which has been instrumental in the country’s advancements and progress over the decades. Today, Wakanda is more exposed than ever before, but they continue to hold тιԍнт to some secrets and mysteries.

While T’Challa tragically pᴀssed away, his sister has since taken up the mantle, and the governing bodies of Wakanda have shifted. Now, Eyes of Wakanda sheds light on various hidden corners of this community in an incredible animated anthology series consisting of four episodes.

The series has Ryan Coogler, the director behind both Black Panther films, signed on as an executive producer, and will feature familiar characters voiced by their original actors, such as Danai Gurira returning to voice Okoye. In addition, there are also several new characters whose stories will enrich and enlarge Wakanda’s presence in the MCU.

Marvel Zombies – October 3, 2025

The Heroes Are Completely Transformed In Marvel Zombies

Next, another animated series is due to join the lineup this October, just in time for the Halloween season. Marvel Zombies serves as a spin-off from the What If…? series, which included one episode that was primarily concerned with Marvel heroes rising from the ᴅᴇᴀᴅ as evil zombies.

This series will also include four episodes, and is being described as an adult animation series, suggesting the material is slightly more mature. But, more excitingly, this series promises to be one of the first to gather together several of the younger generation of heroes from the MCU, including Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop, Riri Williams, and more, all voiced by their live-action counterparts.

Marvel Zombies is one of the more experimental shows in the lineup, but with this darker tone, and the promising team-up, Marvel Zombies could be one of the hidden gems that proves to be wildly popular. Be sure to tune in to find out what happened to transform the old guard of heroes into monsters, and how the new crew handle the crisis.

Wonder Man – December 2025

Simon Williams Develops Superpowers Alongside His Super Stardom In Wonder Man

Finally, Wonder Man will arrive in December 2025. This series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, playing the part of Simon Williams, a popular Hollywood actor who develops powers, and is thus thrust into the world of heroes and villains. The series has been created by Destin Daniel Cretton, who previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

The series will consist of 8 episodes of approximately 30 minutes each, and will introduce a character who promises to earn his spot in the lineup of superheroes from the MCU. Also, the series will see the return of Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, the struggling actor from England who was coerced into playing the part of the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, before being captured by the actual Mandarin.

More details about the show and what to expect are still under wraps, but it is set to be an exciting corner of the MCU that will make a great addition to the lineup. All of that being said, these are the projects due in 2025 from the MCU, closing out the year with an impressive nine individual projects in a 12-month period.
