Alan Ritchson becomes the perfect Batman for the new DC Universe in exciting new DCU fan art. Ritchson has made the world aware that he would love to give life to DC’s Dark Knight multiple times. That has led to the actor becoming one of the fan-favorites to lead the DC Universe’s Batman movie, The Brave and the Bold.
So far, no casting updates have come related to the new Batman. That is because James Gunn believes the stars of the DCU’s upcoming movies should only be cast after the projects have their scripts ready. However, it has been reported that Batman’s The Brave and the Bold and the DCU Wonder Woman movie are being prioritized by the studio.
On Instagram, @esheffects shared what Alan Ritchson could look like as the DCU Batman.
The fan art includes several sH๏τs of Ritchson as Batman wearing different Batsuits. Among those are Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson-inspired Batsuits, as well as Batman’s classic grey and blue suit from the comics. Ritchson looks pitch-perfect in the fan art, showcasing how he could become the most physically imposing live-action Batman actor if cast.
What The Alan Ritchson DCU Batman Art Means
James Gunn Is Well Aware Of The Reacher Star’s Talents
At this point, there are no official updates on Batman’s DCU casting, as the script for The Brave and the Bold is not yet finished, nor has DC even revealed its writer. However, that could soon change, as James Gunn recently confirmed that Supergirl scribe Ana Nogueira is penning Wonder Woman’s DCU movie. News about Batman’s reboot could come soon.
For the moment, the Alan Ritchson Batman fan art has no real impact on the DCU. However, it serves as a great way of showcasing that the actor would be able to embody Bruce Wayne physically. The more fan art of Ritchson is out there, the bigger the chance that the Reacher star could at least audition for Batman.

Our Take On The Alan Ritchson DCU Batman Art
I believe the new Alan Ritchson Batman fan art does a great job of showing how right for Bruce Wayne the actor is. Ritchson can realistically play a Batman who has a full Bat-Family, with projects like Reacher showing his skills for the role. The Batman fan art helps illustrate how Ritchson would make Batman a frightening sight for his enemies.
