X-Men, Fantastic Four & More Marvel Heroes Try To Stop Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom In Avengers: Doomsday Concept Trailer

A new Avengers: Doomsday concept trailer shows just how much of a threat Doctor Doom could be. With Robert Downey Jr. leading Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast as Doctor Doom, the film has quickly become one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects ever. Given how there have been no details about the film’s plot besides casting, many rumors have started to emerge.

At this point, what is known is that Avengers: Doomsday‘s story will include the multiverse in a major way and several teams. Fox’s original X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the New Avengers, and more will have to band together to defeat Downey’s Doctor Doom. Based on that, Downey’s Victor von Doom will have to be incredibly powerful to fight them all.

On YouTube, Screen Culture shared a new Avengers: Doomsday concept trailer that shows how frightening Doctor Doom is.

While Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is barely shown in the Avengers movie fan trailer, the villain looms over the footage. Characters like Doctor Strange, Mister Fantastic, and Magneto talk about how much of a threat Doctor Doom poses. Scenes of destruction across the multiverse help display how thrilling the upcoming MCU movie could be.

What The Avengers: Doomsday Concept Trailer Means

The MCU Movie Needs To Live Up To High Expectations

While the Avengers: Doomsday concept trailer is not official, it does showcase the potential the next Avengers movie has. With the sheer number of characters set to appear in the film, Avengers: Doomsday could be one of Marvel’s most epic releases. After divisive films in the Multiverse Saga, Doctor Doom is perfect to using the full scope of the multiverse.

By showing key characters from the MCU and beyond, such as Ian McKellen’s Magneto, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, the Avengers: Doomsday concept trailer does a great job of teasing just how powerful the villain is. After Thanos in the past two Avengers movies, the bar has been raised high when it comes to MCU main villains.

Our Take On The Avengers: Doomsday Concept Trailer

Every Piece Of Official Footage Will Count For The Avengers Movie

Whenever Marvel Studios releases the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer, I would be excited if the footage were as eerie as the concept trailer. Doctor Doom will not have the same kind of buildup that Thanos had, and so, every piece of footage that Marvel releases before Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters will be important for the film.

I believe the Avengers: Doomsday concept trailer does a solid job of showcasing the MCU movie’s ambitious scope. There will be many characters and universes involved in this film. Marvel needs to give all of them the needed focus, even if some ultimately shine more than others, which is to be expected. Avengers: Doomsday is a crossover event for the ages.
