Tel Aviv — Israel is reeling after the most intense Iranian missile barrage to date appeared to punch through parts of its famed Iron Dome shield, unleashing fiery explosions across the Tel Aviv metropolitan area and shocking a public long told the skies were under control.
Sirens wailed with almost no pause as wave after wave of ballistic and cruise missiles roared in from the east. For minutes, residents watched familiar white interceptor trails climb into the night, only to see multiple orange fireballs erupt at ground level — near highways, residential towers and an industrial zone south of the city.
Streets are cratered, cars overturned, and entire blocks lie in darkness after power substations were hit….
