Brad Pitt’s Next Movie After Blockbuster Hit Is A $211 Million War Film Reunion 11 Years In The Making

Brad Pitt is one of the most successful actors currently working in Hollywood, with a mᴀssive number of extremely well-liked projects under his belt. However, one of his most interesting upcoming movies is Heart of the Beast, which will see Pitt reunited with someone he hasn’t directly worked with in over 11 years.

Recently, the actor found success with the well-reviewed racing movie F1 and has become a decent hit at the box office despite some heavy compeтιтion. A few of his more recent movies haven’t done all that well, but the actor is still a big draw who can clearly bring in audiences.

Brad Pitt Is Reuniting With Fury Director David Ayer For Heart Of The Beast

This New Film Marks Their First Collaboration Since 2014

Heart of the Beast is an upcoming action/adventure film that centers around a Navy SEAL, played by Pitt, who gets lost in the Alaskan wilderness and has to find his way back to civilization, accompanied only by his retired combat dog.

The film is being directed by David Ayer, who is most notable for the plethora of action films he has created, including Training Day, The Fast and the Furious, 2016’s Suicide Squad, and a couple of recent Jason Statham projects, such as The Beekeeper and A Working Man.

Ayer was also behind the writing of Fury, while Heart of the Beast is being written by Cameron Alexander, who doesn’t have too many credits to his name yet.

Most notably for Heart of the Beast, however, Ayer also directed Fury, a war movie that starred Pitt as the commander of an American tank fighting in Nazi Germany during World War II. That movie was a pretty solid hit, earning good reviews and making over $200 million at the box office on a budget of around $80 million.

Since this is Pitt and Ayer’s first collaboration since Fury, the hope is that the duo will be able to make something that manages to be on par with that movie. Ayer was also behind the writing of Fury, while Heart of the Beast is being written by Cameron Alexander, who doesn’t have too many credits to his name yet.

Heart of the Beast‘s cast has expanded since the initial announcement, with names like J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe attached. However, there is still very little known about the project aside from the initial logline, which was revealed alongside the movie’s announcement.

A former Army Special Forces soldier and his retired combat dog attempt to return to civilization after suffering a catastrophic accident deep in the Alaskan wilderness.

While Ayer has had some misses throughout his career, his recent work with Statham has been pretty solid. With Pitt’s continued line of great work, Heart of the Beast could be a movie that can take advantage of the strengths of its main actor and director and become another big success for the pair.
