These Upcoming Henry Cavill Movies Can Make Him A Super Man, Even If He’s Not Superman

Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel role means that the actor will always be known for playing Superman, and while he may not be the DC Comics hero anymore, these upcoming movie roles will definitely make him a super man. While the DCU has moved on without him, Cavill has gone on to have an incredibly impressive career of his own, and things are only getting more exciting.

Cavill’s biggest role after Man of Steel came in 2019 with the release of Netflix’s The Witcher series. In it, Cavill plays Geralt of Rivia, with the series becoming one of Cavill’s most well-received projects. Cavill has also landed major roles in the Enola Homes franchise, The Ministry of Ungentelmanly Warfare, Argylle, and Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

While Cavill has cemented his status as an action star, he still hasn’t been able to shake his Superman reputation. For years fans fought to bring Cavill back, and it almost happened thanks to his appearance in Black Adam. However, the reboot of the DCU was the final nail in the coffin for Cavill’s Superman, with the actor having to discover different ways to earn superpowers.

Voltron & Highlander Will See Henry Cavill Play A Super Powerful Character Again

Filling The Superman-Shaped Hole In Many Hearts

Henry Cavill has some incredibly exciting projects in the works, with him set to star in the Highlander reboot as well as the upcoming Voltron movie. Very little is known about both of these films, but Henry Cavill’s prominence in news regarding the upcoming franchise entries is exciting, proving that he will be a major presence in theaters once again.

Henry Cavill’s Highlander will see the actor play the immortal Scotsman who moves to New York before being pulled back into the world of immortal warriors. Connor MacLeod is the face of the Highlander franchise, so having Henry Cavill play the character is a big deal. While he may not be as powerful as Superman, his immortality and strength do get Cavill close to the Man of Steel once again.

Voltron is another exciting role for Cavill, giving him powers in a different way. It isn’t yet known who Cavill will play in Voltron, so it is impossible to say much about his role. However, based on the franchise’s past, it is likely that Cavill will be playing the pilot of a mech suit, which is powerful in its own way.

These two movies could cement Cavill as a box office тιтan once again after several years of Netflix streaming successes. So, even if he is no longer wearing the red cape of Superman, Henry Cavill will soon prove to be a powerful force on screen.
