Party With ScreenRant At XLE’s Ready Party One For San Diego Comic-Con 2025

With summer roughly halfway through, San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner, and ScreenRant is kicking off the festivities with a party put together by the award-winning team at XLE for Ready Party One. The California-based convention is one of the biggest annual events, drawing in fans from all forms of media, including movies, TV shows, comic books and video games. XLE has been the winner of the Shruggie Award for Best Comic-Con Party for the last two years, and are bringing three new themes to their new residency at Parq Nightclub in San Diego.

Though this year’s SDCC 2025 will be missing out on a few key figures, particularly Marvel, DC and Star Wars, many of the biggest studios are still bringing some exciting first looks and updates to Hall H presentations, including Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 and Phineas and Ferb, Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, and Starz’s Outlander to celebrate its final season, among others. Star Wars creator George Lucas will also make his first appearance ever at the convention for a sneak peek at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.

ScreenRant Is Reuniting With XLE For The Festivities

In honor of the convention’s start, ScreenRant is inviting our readers to join us for XLE’s latest themed party at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with Ready Party One, inspired by Ernest Cline’s sci-fi novel Ready Player One. Held at the Parq Nightclub on July 23 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. PST, partygoers will be whisked away into the OASIS for a special night of cosplay, nostalgia, and nonstop music from fandom flashback band, The Flux Capacitors, playing their take on a variety of classic tracks from the likes of:

  • Back to the Future
  • Shrek
  • One Piece
  • Pokémon
  • The Super Mario Bros. Movie
  • Mortal Kombat
  • Power Rangers
  • Harry Potter
  • Ghostbusters
  • Parks & Recreation

The Flux Capacitors will also be joined by guest performances from When in Rome frontman Clive Farrington, The Lost Boys songwriter G Tom Mac, X-Men 97‘s Gui Agustini, and official Disney & Lucasfilm DJ Elliot. There will also be exciting appearances from special guests Jamison Newlander, star of The Lost Boys, Walter Jones, the original Black Power Ranger from Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, and Efren Ramirez, who is celebrating 20 years of Napoleon Dynamite and will be guest DJ.

Fans joining Ready Party One at San Diego Comic-Con are encouraged to don their favorite cosplay, with two forms of admission being offered, including General Admission, which offers access to the party, all live entertainment, multiple bars and a pH๏τo op to capture one’s journey into the OASIS, and VIP Perks, which includes an exclusive entry point, a collectible Ready Party One badge, access to a special viewing area of the main stage, and entry to the downstairs area featuring VIP exclusive sushi. With such a range of entertainment in just one party, Ready Party One is the perfect way to kick off SDCC 2025.
