In one of the strangest moments in the franchise, just before attempting to kill Dom, Dante blew up the plane that held so many Fast heroes. The cliffhanger Fast X scene was realized without fanfare and was shown from a distance, but it did seem to imply that Roman, Tej, Ramsey, and Han were killed.

If this is the case, and these characters are truly ᴅᴇᴀᴅ, further explanation must be given.
