New Action Thriller With 45% RT Score Becomes Netflix’s Top 4 Most Popular Movie Of All-Time

Netflix‘s new action thriller with a 45% Rotten Tomatoes score ascends the streaming service’s top four most popular charts of all time. Netflix’s most-watched movie of all time is Red Notice, ranking first with 230.9 million views. It’s followed by Carry-On in second with 172.1 million views, and Don’t Look Up just behind it at 171.4 million.

The Adam Project ranks fourth with 157.6 million, just edging out Bird Box in fifth with 157.4 million views. Behind them are Back in Action in sixth with 147.2 million views, Leave the World Behind in seventh with 143.4 million, and The Gray Man in eighth with 139.3 million. Damsel lands in ninth place at 138 million, while We Can Be Heroes closes out the list with 137.3 million views.

In terms of Netflix’s non-English movies, Troll is their most popular of all time with 103 million views. Under Paris follows closely in second place with 102.3 million views, and Society of the Snow takes third with 98.5 million. However, Netflix now has a new non-English movie entering its top four.

It’s Racked Up 87M+ Views

Exterritorial has ascended to Netflix’s top four most popular charts of all time. Written and directed by Christian Zübert, Netflix’s new bilingual action thriller follows a former special forces soldier with PTSD trying to find her missing son, who mysteriously disappeared inside the U.S. Consulate in Germany, and soon finds herself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy.

Jeanne Goursaud stars in the lead role alongside a supporting cast that includes Dougray Scott, Lera Abova, Kayode Akinyemi, Annabelle Mandeng, Lara Babalola, Godfrey Egbon, Kris Saddler, Rada Rae, Rickson Guy da Silva, Susanne Michel, and Samuel Tehrani.

Now, following its release on April 30, Exterritorial now ranks fourth on Netflix’s Top 10 most popular non-English movies of all time with 87.2 million views and 158.5 million hours viewed. It still ranks below Troll, Under Paris, and Society of the Snow, but above Nowhere, The Platform, Counterattack, Ad Vitam, Through My Window, and AKA.

What This Means For Exterritorial

How High Can It Climb?

Since its release on April 30, Exterritorial has been ascending Netflix’s chart of their most popular non-English movies of all time. The action thriller landed at the eighth spot just two weeks after its release, and climbed into the top five after two months.

Exterritorial will need 11.3 million more views to move into the top three, and considering its success so far, this seems absolutely attainable. Once there, Exterritorial will only need 4.5 million more views to pᴀss Under Paris and Troll to become Netflix’s most popular non-English movie of all time.
