In his response, Gunn made it very clear that “There are only about 5 people who know anything about specifics of The Batman 2 script so any story or character leaks you’ve ever heard are false or a lucky guess.” According to Pattinson in a previous interview, filming on The Batman 2 is set to begin towards the end of 2025.

Gunn’s latest comments, are a perfect reminder that, given how popular the superhero movie genre is, rumors appearing about the project are always likely.
