NEW: Iran launches strikes across region hitting H๏τel and disrupting flights.hl

In a bold and alarming escalation of the Iran war, Iranian forces launched a coordinated wave of missile and drone strikes across the Gulf region early Friday, directly hitting a luxury H๏τel in Dubai and causing major disruptions to air traffic at several key airports.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility, stating the attacks were “precise retaliation” for the recent U.S.-Israeli bombing of Kharg Island and the continued use of Gulf territory for operations against Iran. One of the most dramatic impacts occurred at a high-end H๏τel in Dubai’s Jumeirah area, where a missile strike caused a powerful explosion, shattering windows and triggering fires on multiple floors. At least seven people were reported injured, with dramatic footage showing guests fleeing in panic as smoke poured from the building.

At the same time, Iranian drones targeted areas near Dubai International Airport and other aviation hubs in the UAE and Qatar, forcing authorities to suspend flights and divert hundreds of aircraft. The disruptions have thrown international travel into chaos, with thousands of pᴀssengers stranded and major airlines scrambling to adjust schedules.

This multi-pronged ᴀssault demonstrates Iran’s growing willingness to strike civilian and economic targets in retaliation for Operation Epic Fury. Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s regime appears determined to raise the cost of the conflict for America and its Gulf allies, sending a clear message that no city in the region is truly safe.

The United States is facing increasing pressure. The USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Abraham Lincoln remain limited by repeated damage, and America has already burned through more than $11 billion in munitions in just two weeks. With critical radar systems destroyed and interceptor stockpiles running low, Washington is struggling to protect its partners while maintaining offensive operations.

As smoke rises over Dubai and flight boards across the Gulf turn red, the war that was supposed to be quick and decisive has now reached the heart of civilian life and global connectivity. Iran is not collapsing under pressure — it is expanding the battlefield.

The region stands on the edge. How much further will this dangerous cycle of retaliation go before it spirals completely out of control?
