John Krasinski & Natalie Portman’s New Apple Adventure Movie Debuts With Disappointing Rotten Tomatoes Score

John Krasinski and Natalie Portman‘s new Apple TV+ adventure movie debuts with a disappointing Rotten Tomatoes score. The former is widely known as Jim Halpert from The Office. From there, he leveraged that fame into one of his pᴀssion projects – co-writing, directing, and starring in the post-apocalyptic horror movie A Quiet Place, followed by writing and directing its sequel, A Quiet Place Part II. Recently, Krasinski has opted for more family-friendly fare – including writing, directing, a voicing a role in the fantasy comedy IF.

On the other hand, Portman is widely recognizable as Padmé from the Star Wars prequel trilogy. From there, she went on to become one of the most acclaimed actresses of her class, earning three Academy Award nominations for Closer, Jackie, and winning one for her performance as a troubled ballerina in Black Swan. Portman also has a strong track record in action movies, from her early breakthrough in Léon: The Professional to Star Wars, playing Jane Foster in Thor, and Annihilation. Now, Krasinski and Portman have teamed up for a new action-adventure movie coming to Apple TV+.

Fountain of Youth has debuted with a disappointing Rotten Tomatoes score. Directed by Guy Ritchie, with a script written by James Vanderbilt, the Apple TV+ action adventure film follows a brilliant treasure hunter (played by John Krasinski) who must team up with his smarter, estranged sister (played by Natalie Portman) to embark on a journey to find the famed Fountain of Youth. Its star-studded cast also includes Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, Carmen Ejogo, and Stanley Tucci.

Now, the day before its release on Apple TV+, Fountain of Youth has debuted with a disappointing 45% score on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie has 31 reviews at the time of writing, so the score is subject to change as more are published.
