Fear Street: Prom Queen Cast & Character Guide

Netflix’s Fear Street: Prom Queen features a large cast of up-and-coming actors who prove themselves in the horror flick, plus a few established names. Based on the R.L. Stine young adult books, the Fear Street trilogy came out in 2021, with each movie releasing one week apart. Four years later, fans can enjoy a new standalone installation to the film franchise – Fear Street: Prom Queen.

The 2025 movie follows an underdog student named Lori who decides to run for Shadyside High School’s 1988 prom queen. However, things quickly go bad when a masked murderer dressed in a red raincoat, who I’ve taken to calling the Prom Killer, starts eliminating the prom queen candidates. This entertaining slasher movie is sure to thrill fans of the original trilogy, introducing viewers to a new group of actors and characters. Impressively, the cast is made up almost entirely of up-and-coming actors, only adding a few well-known faces.
