Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom Defeats The Fantastic Four, X-Men, & Avengers In Intense Avengers: Doomsday Art

New Avengers: Doomsday art sees Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom bringing chaos to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As Thunderbolts* finished Phase 5, The Multiverse Saga is approaching its end with Phase 6, which will kick off with The Fantastic Four: First Steps in less than two months. However, it’s the Avengers movies in Phase 6 that will put the MCU to the ultimate test, especially since Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. is set to come back, but this time as Victor von Doom, a.k.a. Doctor Doom.

As Avengers: Doomsday is currently in production, fans are eagerly waiting to get any glimpses they can regarding the project. In the meantime, talented artist and illustrator Dipankar Talukdar shared new Avengers: Doomsday art, showing the huge damage that Doctor Doom could cause the MCU. Check it out below:

The Avengers: Doomsday art features several of the previously announced MCU cast members, as Doctor Doom can be seen taking out several members of the Avengers, as well as the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men players who have been revealed to be coming back. According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, there are still more cast announcements coming up about Avengers: Doomsday.

What The Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom Defeating The MCU Art Means For Avengers: Doomsday

While time will tell how the MCU timeline will approach Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, fans’ expectations are higher than ever when it comes to his role in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Having the actor who launched the MCU as Iron Man return as one of Marvel’s biggest villains was a scenario that many never imagined going into The Multiverse Saga. With the number of characters who currently exist in the MCU, as well as in other realities that Marvel Studios can use, there is a severe concern about who may or may not survive the war against Doctor Doom.

Even though it remains to be seen how their showdowns will be executed, it wouldn’t be shocking at all if Avengers: Doomsday has a variation of Dipankar Talukdar’s concept at some point in the film. If the MCU wants to invoke having the heroes go through their toughest battle yet, being defeated by Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in one way or another is likely going to happen. Having Avengers: Doomsday end with any cliffhanger like that would also justify how things then lead into Avengers: Secret Wars.

Our Take On The Avengers: Doomsday Art

Seeing how haunting but also incredible the Avengers: Doomsday art with Doctor Doom and the fallen heroes is, it will be fascinating to see who will actually survive the events of the Phase 6 installment. Given that the Avengers: Secret Wars story is still being kept under wraps, there is likely going to be some huge fallout in Avengers: Doomsday that will affect the Phase 6 finale. Hopefully, more clues about Avengers: Doomsday will start to emerge as they get further into principal pH๏τography.
