Win Tickets To See Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme With ScreenRant!

After experimenting with the world of Roald Dahl, Wes Anderson is back for another original tale in the form of The Phoenician Scheme, which ScreenRant is inviting its viewers to come to for a special early screening. The movie, written by Anderson on a story developed by him and Roman Coppola, the black comedy centers on wealthy business owner, Benicio del Toro’s Zsa-zsa Korda, well-renowned for his successful ventures and frequent aeronautical crashes. When he elects to appoint his daughter, a nun, as the sole heir to his estate, they find themselves the targets of a wide array of enemies.

Just over a week before it gets its wide release, ScreenRant will be hosting two special early screenings of The Phoenician Scheme. The screenings will be held concurrently in Los Angeles at AMC The Grove and New York City at AMC Lincoln Square at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21. Tickets are limited, so for those looking to catch Anderson’s latest quirky endeavor, email [email protected] for New York City or [email protected] for Los Angeles now to learn more details and secure your spot!

Why You Should Join ScreenRant’s Early Phoenician Scheme Screening

The Movie Marks A Series Of Exciting Reunions For Anderson

Anderson’s movies have always been on the more eccentric side of filmmaking, often featuring highly saturated visual palettes and stylishly minimalistic filmmaking and practical effects. When it comes to The Phoenician Scheme, though, there are a lot of reasons why audiences should give ScreenRant‘s early screening a watch. First and foremost is the fact that they’ll be able to join those in attendance of this year’s Cannes Film Festival by seeing the film before wider audiences.

One of the more exciting, though, is just how many reunions Anderson has put together in the movie’s creative team. The Phoenician Scheme cast alone consists of those who have worked with the writer/director on a number of acclaimed тιтles, particularly del Toro, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe and Benedict Cumberbatch. The cast also features a few first-time collaborators for the Oscar winner, including Mia Threapleton as Zsa-zsa’s daughter, Sister Liesl, Michael Cera and Riz Ahmed.

Lastly, The Phoenician Scheme serves as Anderson’s return to the big screen after his success with Netflix’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Three More. Considering it’s also his first live-action movie not to be sH๏τ by Robert Yeoman, but instead by six-time Oscar nominee Bruno Delbonnel, a theatrical showing will be the best way to experience how the duo’s styles come together for another unique romp.
