In 2024, ᴅᴇᴀᴅpool & Wolverine‘s movie trailer went viral, garnering 365 million views across platforms in the first 24 hours, and became the most-viewed movie trailer of all time in the first 24 hours, surpᴀssing Spider-Man: No Way Home‘s record. Original streaming movies, which began to emerge in recent years, have been quietly making history.

Prime Video, in particular, has a lot of exciting new projects in store for 2025. Now, according to ᴅᴇᴀᴅline, with data shared by WaveMetrix, Culpa Nuestra‘s trailer has garnered 163 million views across all platforms in the week after its release, making it the most-viewed trailer for an original streaming movie. The trailer broke the record previously held by Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine’s Prime Video rom-com The Idea Of You, which had over 125 million views in 2024.

Ron’s Culpables trilogy was a New York Times bestseller with more than three million copies sold.
