Naked Gun Reboot Image Reveals First Look At Pamela Anderson’s Character

An image from The Naked Gun reboot reveals the first look at Pamela Anderson’s character. Though the late Leslie Nielsen starred as police detective Frank Drebin in the original Naked Gun trilogy from the 1980s to 1990s, Liam Neeson is taking over the lead role in the upcoming Naked Gun reboot, playing his son, Lt. Frank Drebin Jr. Though precise plot details remain under wraps, the cast also includes Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddy Yu, and Danny Huston.

Now, as part of Entertainment Weekly‘s 2025 summer movie preview, the first look at Pamela Anderson in The Naked Gun reboot was revealed. The image shows the actress in character as Beth, wearing elegant all-white business casual attire with a black beret, oversized sunglᴀsses, and coat draped over her shoulders. What The Naked Gun Image Means For Pamela Anderson’s Character

Who Is She Playing?

Since The Naked Gun teaser trailer opted not to include her, this image offers the first look at Pamela Anderson’s character, Beth, in the upcoming reboot. In the image, the character’s appearance exudes the glamour of classic film noir, as Beth appears to embody the classic traits of a femme fatale. Still, the image doesn’t offer much in the way of definitive character details, though talking to EW, Anderson did reveal that her character “comes to the Police Squad for help following her brother’s murder.

Otherwise, The Naked Gun represents a very different type of role for Anderson. Though she is perhaps best known as C.J. Parker in Baywatch, she recently delivered a career-redefining performance in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl, which saw her nominated for several accolades, including a Golden Globe. Now, Anderson will show off her comedic chops once again in The Naked Gun reboot, hearkening back to one of her earlier roles on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement.

She Could Be Similar To Priscilla Presley’s Jane

Though details about Pamela Anderson’s character remain scarce, it seems she could be taking on a role similar to Priscilla Presley’s Jane from the original Naked Gun trilogy. Much like how Jane brought a romantic tension to the original trilogy, Beth could serve as a modern counterpart in the reboot. Her poised, mysterious presence might provide a comedic foil to Liam Neeson’s Frank Drebin Jr., echoing the dynamic between Jane and Leslie Nielsen’s Frank Drebin. If so, Beth could become a vital part of The Naked Gun reboot’s charm, bridging the absurd with the sincere, just as Jane once did.

The Naked Gun releases on August 1.
