MCU’s Galactus First Full Look Revealed By Marvel Merch Ahead Of The Fantastic: Four First Steps’ Release & It’s Perfect

The first full look at Galactus has been revealed two months before The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ release. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has shown snippets of the final 2025 MCU movie in trailers, but fans have yet to see official stills or footage that show Galactus’ full look. Now, they will not have to wait any longer, as the MCU’s Galactus looks comic book-accurate in the first full reveal of the villain’s design, and it can only help raise the excitement for Ralph Ineson’s role as the main threat of the Fantastic Four movie’s cast.

On Twitter, @acelirium shared the first full look at Galactus’ design in the MCU’s Fantastic Four movie.

Galactus looks comics-accurate, with his humanoid shape and purple cosmic armor. The image appears to be from Osaka Comic Con 2025, where there is a Marvel pop-up store. Two smaller sH๏τs of the Galactus design reveal can be seen alongside other Fantastic Four movie merch in the tweet shared by @inrock_products.

With two months left before the Marvel movie, new trailers could show what Galactus’ full design looks like in motion and more of his role in The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ story.

What Galactus’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps Full Look Means

The MCU’s Next Villain Finally Gets To Shine In Live-Action

While there are a lot of differences between the MCU’s first Fantastic Four movie and 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, both films share two important characters. Those are the Silver Surfer and Galactus. However, as the trailers for The Fantastic Four: First Steps and the new merch reveal, Marvel Studios is going for a very different live-action approach to both of them. In the MCU, the Silver Surfer is a woman, Shalla-Bal, played by Ozark’s Julia Garner instead of the classic Norrin Radd version of the character.

As for Galactus, the cosmic enтιтy was not depicted as his epic humanoid version in the 2007 Fantastic Four movie. Instead. Galactus was a cloud of energy. That design did not sit well with fans, making the film one of the most criticized superhero entries of all time. Thankfully, Marvel Studios is going for a more traditional take on the character, allowing Ralph Ineson to play Galactus in all his glory. This will be the villain’s first time as his humanoid self in a live-action Marvel movie, which makes it quite special.

Our Take On Galactus’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps Full Look

Marvel Studios Does The Right Thing For The Character

Galactus in a portal in Marvel Comics' Cataclysm

Now that I got to see Galactus’ full look for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, I have to say that I absolutely love what Marvel Studios is doing with the character. Galactus is one of the most interesting antagonists in the comics, and his gigantic size adds a lot to the stakes of every story Galactus is in. After having to deal with the cloud design in the 2007 movie, I couldn’t be happier that we will get to see his humanoid form in the MCU. The Fantastic Four: First Steps knows how to use Galactus.
