Paul Feig’s mystery film Another Simple Favor is now available to stream on Prime Video, and the 2025 movie sees several cast members from 2018’s A Simple Favor make their returns. A Simple Favor saw vlogger and single mother Stephanie Smothers befriend another mother, Emily Nelson, who then mysteriously disappeared. Stephanie used her investigation skills to locate Emily, only to be met with more surprises and twists. A Simple Favor ended with Stephanie exposing Emily’s past crimes, sending her to prison for 20 years.

However, Emily’s time in prison seems to have been cut short as the new movie brings the characters back, this time for a wedding. Another Simple Favor will see Stephanie and Emily venture to Capri for Emily’s wedding, where their old tensions flare dramatically when a murder is committed. Another Simple Favor has received positive reviews so far that note that it may be less suspenseful than the original, but its talented and charismatic cast manages to maintain audiences’ attention throughout its runtime.
