Iran RETALIATES with strikes on UAE after Kharg Island bombing.hl

In a swift and aggressive retaliation, Iran has launched a direct missile and drone ᴀssault on targets across the United Arab Emirates, just hours after the U.S. and Israeli bombing of Kharg Island.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the operation, stating it was a “measured but firm response” to the destruction of Iran’s most important oil export terminal. Multiple explosions were reported near Fujairah’s major oil port and storage facilities, as well as industrial zones in Sharjah and areas close to Dubai’s Jebel Ali port. Thick columns of smoke rose over the UAE as fires burned at key energy and logistics sites.

Iranian officials had explicitly warned that any strike on Kharg Island would trigger attacks on Gulf states supporting American operations. “The UAE chose to host aggression against Iran. Now it is paying the price,” an IRGC spokesman declared.
The strikes mark a dangerous turning point. By hitting the UAE — America’s closest Arab ally and host to critical U.S. airbases — Iran has expanded the battlefield into the economic and strategic heart of the Gulf. Global oil prices jumped more than 7% within minutes of the news breaking.
This comes as the United States faces growing military strain. The USS Gerald R. Ford remains crippled by recurring fires, while the USS Abraham Lincoln continues operating under restrictions after previous Iranian attacks. America has already spent over $11 billion in munitions in the first two weeks of Operation Epic Fury, with critical radar systems destroyed and interceptor stockpiles running dangerously low.

For the UAE, the attack is a nightmare scenario. The country now finds itself directly caught in the crossfire between its strategic partnership with Washington and Iran’s expanding reach.
What began as a limited campaign to neutralize Iran has now become a regional war threatening the stability of the entire Gulf. Iran has sent a clear message: strike our oil, and we will strike yours.
As fires continue to burn in the UAE and global energy markets tremble, the question on everyone’s mind is: How much further will this dangerous cycle of retaliation go before the entire region is engulfed?
