Andrew Garfield reveals if he is set to return as Spider-Man and what it would take for him to come back as the Marvel hero. Ever since being part of the Spider-Man: No Way Home cast, fans have been actively advocating to see more of Garfield’s version of Spider-Man. With The Multiverse Saga still in effect, the door is wide open for Garfield to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as his incarnation of Peter Parker.
As Garfield was recently one of the guests at the Abu Dhabi Comic Con (via Visit Abu Dhabi,) the Spider-Man star was asked at a panel if he would ever return as his version of the web-crawler. While stating that he is telling the truth, even though jokingly saying that he expects no one to believe him, Garfield says he truly doesn’t know, but that he is more than open to returning to the Marvel world, with the following condition:
I would love to play the character again in some capacity, but I think it would have to be very weird. I think I would like to do something very strange, I would want to do something very unique, and offbeat and surprising.

Garfield was featured on a panel alongside Arrowverse’s Grant Gustin, who played The Flash on The CW, as well as the fellow Marvel stars Charlie Cox and Wilson Bethel, who portray Daredevil and Bullseye, respectively, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Garfield hasn’t been back in the MCU since 2021, archived footage of his Marvel hero was featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
