Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Takes Flight In Full Costume In New DCU Movie Set Fight Video

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl suit is put on full display in a new Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow set video. Alcock is currently shooting the DC Universe movie that will be released in 2026, marking the second cinematic entry in the franchise after James Gunn’s Superman premieres this July. While Jason Momoa revealed he had already finished shooting his scenes as Lobo for the film, Alcock and other stars continue to work on bringing Supergirl’s world to life, and set videos have started to make their way online.

A new Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow set video shared by UnBoxPHD shows Milly Alcock’s Supergirl in full suit as she fights a villain and flies. The villain sports some kind of armor and uses an ax to fight the Girl of Steel. Since Momoa has already finished his scenes for the upcoming DCU movie, this is not the first look at Lobo.

Alcock’s Supergirl wears a suit that looks like her classic comic book costume, with the “S” symbol being similar to that of David Corenswet’s Superman. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow‘s story is expected to be close to the comics it is based on.

What The Supergirl Set Fight Video Means For The DCU Movie

Kara Zor-El Is Going On A Cosmic Adventure

A bloodied and disheveled Supergirl sits and reflects in the Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow comic

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will follow Kara as she goes on a universe-wide quest for revenge with the young Ruthye. The movie’s main villain is Krem of the Yellow Hills, who will be played by Matthias Schoenaerts. Many fans believe that Krem is the character fighting Supergirl in the new set video. However, if that were to be the case, then it means the DCU is making some changes to the story the film is based on, as the character fighting Supergirl does not look like Krem from the comics.

The reason for that is quite simple: Krem does not wear the kind of armor that the character Supergirl fights in the set video does. That means either the DCU movie is making changes to the villain to make him have a better chance of fighting Alcock’s Supergirl, or DC is adding a new group of characters to the story. Since the source material did not include Lobo, but the movie will feature Momoa’s DCU debut as the bounty hunter, it seems like more surprises could be in store.

Our Take On The Supergirl Set Video

Milly Alcock’s Supergirl Suit Looks Great In Action

I’m even more excited about Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow after watching the new set video. The Supergirl suit having the classic design is great, and I feel it looks stunning in action, as the colors pop nicely. Additionally, the fight scene seems to be entertaining, with Supergirl not having an easy life despite her flying and strength. I’m not entirely sure that it is Krem of the Yellow Hills fighting her, with my guess being that it is a mercenary of sorts connected to Momoa’s Lobo. Perhaps future Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow set videos could explain who he is.
