How To Get Free Tickets To The King Of Kings

The King of Kings

is a new animated movie arriving in theaters this week, and the studios behind it are offering a special deal to families to bring their children to the cinema — one which is going fast. The King of Kings is a story within a story, where successful and very busy author Charles Dickens (Kenneth Branagh) bonds with his child by telling him the story of Jesus Christ (Oscar Isaac). The movie is based on Charles Dickens’ The Life of Our Lord, which he wrote specifically for his children to read aloud.

Thus, The Life of Our Lord was not published until all of Dickens’ children had pᴀssed away, 64 years after his own death. The movie attempts to adapt this personal element and sense of a father relating a story to his children, with the full critics’ consensus yet to be seen. The King of Kings, also featuring the voices of Uma Thurman, Mark Hamill, Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker, and more, was produced by Mofac Studios and is distributed by Angel Studios, the latter of which is setting out to make this movie more accessible to families.

Free Tickets For The King Of Kings Are Available Through Angel Studios

Angel Studios Is Offering Free Movie Tickets To Children

Via Angel Studios website, adults can receive one free child’s ticket to The King of Kings with the purchase of an adult ticket, using the code “KIDSGOFREE.” This offer is limited to one kid’s ticket per adult and is while supplies last. Additionally, the deal is powered by Angel Studios’ Pay It Forward initiative, which allows members of the public to help support filmmakers and make entertainment more accessible, donating to ongoing productions or paying for others’ movie tickets and streaming.

The King Of Kings’ Free Tickets Offer Is For A Limited Time

Free Kids’ Tickets To The King Of Kings Will Not Last Long

However, according to the website, this deal will only last until April 13; the “Kids Go Free” campaign specifically applies to screenings between April 10 and 13, but tickets may also sell out long before. At the time of writing, Angel Studios is advertising that over 750 movie theaters screening The King of Kings have already sold out nationwide, urging its potential audiences to take advantage of the deal immediately.

Deals on movie tickets for children are not all that uncommon nowadays, as cinema prices are only going up and even the best movies struggle at the box office against the backdrop of the streaming era. Family-friendly movies tend to do better, targeted at parents who are on the hunt for something to entertain their children. This state of affairs, combined with the surprising reunion of several Star Wars actors, suggests that free tickets to The King of Kings won’t be available much longer.
