Sarah Ferguson is feeling “deeply depressed”, according to her friends.

Friends of Sarah Ferguson have revealed that the former Duchess of York has plunged “into depths of depair” after her her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested at his new temporary home on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. The 66-year-old is currently dealing with her reputation being torn to tatters amid her appearance in the three million recently-released Epstein files.

One friend recently told the Daily Mail: “She feels deeply depressed and that the world is out to get her. She is very, very down. Some people, including Sarah herself, are worried for her mental health.

“[But] what she doesn’t appear to feel is remorse for what has happened. She just wants this to all go away and allow her to get on with her life. Her head is in the sand.”

Sarah has not been since publicly since September and, after her eviction from Royal Lodge earlier this month, her current living situation remains unknown.
